NEW APARTMENT DEVELOPMENT ABBEYFEALE

Planning Permission has just been obtained for a new three storey apartment development on St. Itas terrace, Abbeyfeale. The building has been designed with Sustainability and Energy conservation at its core. All apartments will be dual aspect, providing light from the east,  south and west.  The living accommodation is generous, providing a warm sun-lit environment in evening time.

The new infill development is a two / three storey development. The height is in keeping with the neighbouring buildings, which are two storey in height with pitched roofs. Although the apartment has an extra floor, the overall height is lower than the neighbours house. Overlooking of neighbours is carefully avoided by providing the roof terraces only on the front of the building, which addresses St. Itas terrace, a predominantly quiet residential area. To the rear of the building, the terrace is provided with a high boundary wall, preventing any overlooking to the rear of the development.

The building is finished in a plaster finish, with infill panels of cedar cladding and glazed balconies. The contemporary feel of the development will add some new life to the area. Off street car parking is provided at the front of the building, with adequate parking for residents and visitors.
